Animal characters are on the page-gripping edge, the names of the books extend 1/4″ from the page, and are color coded to distinguish 7 major sections of the Bible:
- rose – The Pentateuch;
- peach – History;
- yellow – Poetry and Wisdom;
- green – The Prophets;
- blue – The Gospels;
- violet – The Letters;
